simple present tense
simple present tense digunakan untuk menyatakan kegiatan sehari-hari atau general truth(kebenaran yag tidak dapat dipungkiri).
formula atau rumus yang digunakan dalam simple present tense:
untuk membuat kalimat positive kita menggunakan
S+V1(S/ES)+O/C
keterangan:
S: SUBJECT
V1:VERB 1 (Kata Kerja Pertama)
O/C: Object/complement
example:
I read a book
we play football
they write a story
you eat an apple
ingat !!! untuk bentuk simple present tense mengunakan subject I,YOU,WE, dan THEY kita hanya menambahkan verb1(kata kerja pertama) setelahnya.
he brings a chocolate
she goes to market
it runs well
dan ingat jika subjectnya She,He dan it setelah verb1 kita tambahkan S/ES setelahny
dibawah ini contoh bentuk simple present tense dalam general trurh (kebenaran yag tidak dapat dipungkiri).

dan yang berikutnya adalah bentuk negatif simple present tense
formulanya adalah:
S+DO/DOES+NOT+O/C
example
I do not make a cake
we do not watch TV
they do not understand me
you do not drink milk
jika subjectnya I,YOU,WE dan THEY kita menggunakan DO+NOT
he does not ride motorcycle
she does not sing a song
it does not run well
jika subjectnya SHE,HE, dan IT kita menggunakan DOES+NOT dan unuk kata kerjanya tidak ditambahkan S/ES lagi dalam bentuk kalimat negatif.
catatan: do not dan juga does not bisa di singkat menjadi don't dan doesn't.
bentuk yang selanjutnya adalah bentuk kalimat tanya atau interrogative form. untuk membentuk kalimat interrogative kita menggunakan formula:
DO/DOES+S+V+O/C
example:
do i read a book?
do we play football?
do they write a story?
do you at an apple?
sama seperti bentuk negatif, untuk subject I,YOU, WE, dan THEY, kita mengunakan DO.
does he bring a chocolate?
does she go to market?
does it run well?
dan untuk subject he,she dan it kita gunakan does
bentuk pertanyaan seperti ini di sebut juga Yes/No Question. mengapa disebut demikian, karena hanya memerlukan jawaban yes or no saja.
example:
do you play football?
yes, i do atau no, i do not

buatlah ke 14 pertanyaan diatas dalam bentuk kalimat tanya atau interrogative form!
